OKIN acquires Ogi Mahaia (Pan Betti), a frozen pre-cooked bread factory located in Salvatierra

As we continue with the process of improving our manufacturing, logistics and marketing operations, our group has decided to take over the management of a frozen pre-cooked bread factory located in Salvatierra (Alava, Spain), from 01/01/2022.

In Salvatierra, we will from this month have additional production capacities, both in White bread and in Ciabattas and speciality breads. This factory, which we now see as our sixth line, has IFS certification and all food safety guarantees.

The plant is logistically well located and provides us with additional stocking capabilities while bringing us closer to some of our customers’ facilities. All of which must serve to improve our service.

This step forward for our group is also a response to the need to expand our facilities to meet our current demand and to undertake new projects in the future.

It should be noted that these facilities will continue to operate as normal with their current customers through the company Ogi Mania Sur, which is 100% owned by our group.
