Okin's Commitment to Sustainable Development: Committee Zuhaitza (Tree in Basque)
At OKIN, we are taking a step forward by creating the ZUHAITZA COMMITTEE, where we develop a roadmap with goals and commitments that align our company objectives with those of the planet. Aware of the significant improvements that can be made in this area, the Zuhaitza Committee, representing the entire company, advocates for the implementation of these principles through information dissemination and training and ensures an active role in their application. In short, OKIN's goal is to create a more circular and environmentally friendly economy, reduce environmental impact, and increase resource efficiency. Categorizing the SDGs has been a fundamental task.
EcoVadis Bronze Medal
OKIN has received the Bronze Medal in the 2025 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating for its sustainable practices. This medal places the company among the top 35% of companies rated by EcoVadis in 2025, achieving a 66th percentile out of over 130,000 evaluated companies.
